OG had secretly tried to get Eve pregnant and was worried that she had fertility issues, he genuinely wanted to tie her down to himself by getting her pregnant. He secretly monitored her cycle and followed up to see if she was having early signs of pregnancy. After he tried several times, he began to doubt himself and even had to see his doctor to be sure he was okay, he also ran a DNA test on his four children, he told Isioma that it was a requirement for citizenship by investment that was being processed for his family. OG was nervous while he waited for the results of the DNA tests and so was quite relieved when the results showed that all four children were his; that was when he knew that for sure Eve needed medical attention but he could not tell her and only hoped that she would somehow get pregnant.

Eve tried severally to stop seeing OG but just didn't have the willpower to let him go, her pastor knew that she was in a relationship with a married man; she told him when she went to him for counseling. He prayed with and for her, gave her spiritual tasks to do, and even had her stay away from being a worker in the church for a while, no matter what he did, Eve was never able to leave OG. She cried herself to sleep many nights especially when she missed him and realized that she would always be a second fiddle but she was too into OG to let him go. 

He knew her more than any other man she had ever dated and treated her well, before she met him, she had been celibate for over three years, she was focused on her job and her faith. She never planned to date again till she found a man who was serious enough to marry her; her heart had been broken too many times, she knew that she was very naive when it came to men even though she put up a tough front. The last guy she dated traveled from her home to go to his traditional wedding, another one made her send money to his sister monthly for seven months before she discovered that the sister was her boyfriend's main girlfriend; she was the cash cow.

She lacked nothing and would not take anything from a guy, she had a warped notion that spending her money on men showed that she cared, in the end, she was left heartbroken. OG was different, they were first friends who enjoyed each other's company and shared many interests before they became lovers. She found herself going over presentations with him and seeking his opinion before making major decisions. OG showed interest in her job and well-being. 

She enjoyed their friendship and wanted to keep it that way till she broke down from fatigue and had to be on bed rest. She was put in charge of setting up a new branch of her company in a very busy area of Abuja, as a perfectionist, she was involved in everything; construction, decoration, recruitment, training, and much more. At the end of that project, she walked into her office one morning and just passed out, she had refused to go on leave after working late hours to meet the deadline for the branch opening.

When she was discharged from the hospital, OG bought her a ticket and forced her to travel to Dubai, while she was there, he asked her if she wanted him to come and keep her company, this was after one year of being friends. On the day that OG arrived in Dubai, he invited her to the Burj Khalifa for dinner and into his room afterward. Eve had been around and almost seen it all but never experienced such luxury from a guy; it was a first for her and when she accepted to sit and chat in his room over champagne, she prayed silently in her mind for mercy for the sin she was about to commit. When the champagne got the better part of her, she stood up and walked to the window, and stared at the most romantic view she had ever seen.

OG walked up to her as she stood there and once she felt him behind her, she turned around, faced him, and just began to unbutton his shirt. OG did not stop her, she took off all his clothes and unzipped her little black spaghetti dress which fell to her feet. At that point, she had only her panties on, she got on her knees and blew OG away like she was in a competition: all the skills she thought she had forgotten came back to her, and with the sound that he made she knew that she still had her magic.

OG begged her to stop so he wouldn't make a fool of himself and by the time he lay her on the bed and began his own magic on her, she cried for two reasons; first out of pure pleasure and second, for offending God, but she knew that she would definitely be back for more again and again. She took charge again when OG almost came to a climax, she quickly changed positions and began to ride him like he was a real horse, it must have been at that point that OG promised to leave his wife and marry her. He also knew then that he would not let her go easily. His first marital affair was with her, in all the period that they had been friends, he never thought she would be half as good in bed as she showed him that night and before it was morning they had been at it up to five times; they were both exhausted and unable to get out of bed till it was noon. 

When they finally got out of bed, they first went to Eve's hotel, she changed her clothes and checked out of the hotel, they had eaten the forbidden fruit and so there was no need to keep wasting money, They both had three more days and decided it was best to stay together. When they got back to Abuja, OG spent one more night in Eve's home and after he left the next day, Eve cried like a baby yet again, this time for eating what belonged to another and knowing that she might be badly hurt again. After work on that day, she went straight to church and talked to her pastor, and cried all through the counselling session.

After OG returned to Lagos, he kept calling and persuading Eve to get rid of the pregnancy before it became noticeable, Susan on the other side, kept insisting that Ade had a right to know that she was carrying his baby. Eve did not want to be entangled with another married man and was adamant about keeping the news away from Ade, she was still dealing with OG and the last thing she wanted was to mention another married man to her parents. She already made up her mind to lie to her parents about the paternity of her yet-to-be-born baby.
